Dr. Ifeoma P Okafor

I am a Public Health Physician and academician with a passion for quality improvement in the fields of health and education. I continually seek innovative ways to improve the health of individuals, families, and communities by providing the best possible quality of healthcare through reducing inequities and improving access. My various qualifications have exposed me to successful research collaborations in many areas of Public Health significance especially maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH). My work transcends the community and institutional levels, a combination of which generates better evidence for health system strengthening and improvement in MNCH. The primary aim is to provide evidence to influence policies that ensure equitable access to quality MNCH care in the context of global health to achieve SDG3 and beyond.
