I am a dynamic professor with over 18 years of academic experience, specializing in biochemistry, molecular biology, and biotechnology. I have published over 40 research papers and mentored numerous students, including six PhDs. Skilled in research, data analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration, I am passionate about advancing science and nurturing academic excellence.

Prof. Wahab O. Okunowo

I am a Professor of Biochemistry and former Deputy Provost at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. My research focuses on Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry/Neurochemistry, Nutrigenomics, and Food Science. I hold fellowships and memberships in numerous national and international professional associations. With over 250 published research papers, I have also supervised many doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate projects.

I am a Professor of Biochemistry and a Site-Principal Investigator and Key personnel on funded international collaborations aimed

at developing needs-based healthcare solutions and human capacity for Low and Medium

income countries. I am the Editor, Nigerian Quarterly Journal of hospital Medicine and a

Member of the Centre for Social Research and Advocacy Board.

 

Professor OSUNTOKI, A.Adediran

Professor Akande is an experienced Biochemist with expertise in biochemistry, tropical medicine, toxicology, and public health. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry and researches nutrition, disease, and plant-based drug development. He is also a principal investigator on a project exploring the link between diet and cancer rates in Nigeria.

Prof. Adisa is a membrane biochemist researching mitochondrial roles in liver cancer and therapeutic approaches. With 47 publications, she is a fellow of NIH/FIC and an Emerging Global Leader Awardee. Her goal is to develop early diagnostic biomarkers for liver cancer and advance mitochondrial research in Africa.

Rahmat A. Adisa

As an Environmental Toxicologist, my research work is based on studying the effects of Environmental Pollutants on water bodies, life under the water and the human populace as a whole. I have experiences in Toxicology Testing, Environmental Toxicology, Water Chemistry, Analysis of heavy metals and Publication writing.

My research fields of interest include: Environmental Pollution and its Remediation, Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Toxicology and Nutritional Health.

Research on evaluating unconventional feedstuffs for weanling and growing pigs, focusing on nutrient digestibility, performance, and health measurements. Also studied the effects of quinine chloride and halfantrine on human erythrocyte membrane-bound ATPase (B.Sc. University of Ibadan, 1994).

My expertise as a biochemist is in Molecular Biology and Enzymology. My research interest focuses on applying my expertise to contribute to solutions in medicine and biotechnology.

My other areas of competence include genomics, bioinformatics, molecular docking, microbiology and mycology.
