Welcome

The Department provides a core training platform for Medical and Dental undergraduate students at the 300-Level programme where they rotate through three units namely: Virology/Immunology, Parasitology and Bacteriology/Mycology. Apart from teaching the Medical and Dental students for whom the College of Medicine was initially founded, the Department is heavily involved in the teaching of Postgraduate students since the establishment of the School of Postgraduate Studies of the University of Lagos in 1982.
