
Personal Statement
I am a lecturer and researcher of Pharmacology. My research interests are pharmacology and safety evaluation of natural products, CNS pharmacology, cancer chemotherapy and translational research. My doctoral thesis was focused on evaluation of the pharmacological activity and toxicity of Musa sapientum Linn. (Musaceae) leaf extract on the central nervous system in mice. The aim of the study was to investigate the neuropharmacological activities and safety of M. sapientum leaf extract on the CNS using in-vitro and in-vivo mouse models. I have some experience with advanced research instruments and procedures especially cell-based studies, mitochondrial isolation and complex activities, mice handling, spectrophotometry, and drug discovery and testing.
